Alnor ABT700 Series Balometer Capture Hoods

Alnor introduces its new line of Analog Balancing Tools (ABT) which uses a low current analog meter and a large easy to read scale.

Rapid meter response along with smooth needle movement provides for accurate and fast flow measurements.

The ABT Balometer by Alnor is a productivity instrument engineered to measure the air flow quickly and directly from return - exhaust grilles and supply diffusers. The ABT is comprised of support rods, hood frame, fabric hood, and a molded plastic base that contains a flow sensing manifold and an analog meter.

In use, air to be measured is directed past a manifold mounted in the base which senses flow at multiple points spread across a carefully sized area. The manifold is made for measuring air volume on either return or supply outlets mounted in a floor, wall, ceiling or with equal accuracy.

By placing an Alnor ABT Balometer Capture Hood over a grille or diffuser, air volume can be measured in order to verify and balance a building’s air flow distribution. The trend values are easily observed and quick meter response help make the ABT Balometer capture hood the logical choice instrument for facility engineers.
