The 8220 is a measurement instrument for distribution network disturbances and electrical parameters, allowing the user to obtain instantaneous measurements of the main characteristics of a single phase network (current, voltage, current harmonics, voltage and power, etc.) and to monitor operating machinery (distance of windings, inrush current and duration of operation, temperature, and rotational speed).
The 8220 has an accuracy better than 1 percent (excluding current sensors). It has a great degree of flexibility due to AEMC’s incredible range of current sensors, which measure from a few hundred mA to several thousand A.
The AEMC 8220 Power Quality Meter with MN93-BK comes with a black 240A current probe.
