Extended Recording Mode (XRM) and delayed start time are just 2 of the many application friendly features. The L562 records TRMS at a maximum rate of 8 times per second. TRMS calculations are taken on a single line cycle, meaning that the inputs are ignored in between measurement intervals. The L562 main advantage is that it can perform different recording tasks with easy and intuitive setup from a computer with the DataView software. Analog input information is sampled then converted to a digital signal, which is processed and stored along with time and scale information. An optically isolated USB port enables the transfer of data from the L562 internal memory to the PC for analysis

*The native measurement of the instrument is voltage. This voltage is scaled to display current corresponding to the users probe selection. This accuracy specification does not account for probe errors.
**A memory backup provides backup power while the batteries are being changed.
