Manual control descent device - A manual control descender that is designed to allow for varying levels of friction to control the individuals descent. Ideal for use during multiple lowering
scenarios as re-rigging is not required, simply turn the unit upside down and it is ready for us
Designed for single or double rope applications - Strong and versatile descender for use in lowering systems or belaying, ideal for multi pitch search and rescue applications or general industrial descents, the simple friction design eliminates moving parts and possible jamming in harsh environments
Two rigging/anchor points - An anchor point at each end of the unit provide maximum flexibility when rigging the device
Variable friction levels for greater flexibility - Friction can be varied by increasing or decreasing the number of slots the rope goes through, simply wind the rope through the appropriate number of slots
5 Square rope slots with safety gates - Square rope slots allows ease of use in double rope applications, for added protection all open slots have safety gates to keep your rope in place
Accessory cord threading hole - Incorporates a 6mm hole for threading accessory cords to attach to your carabiner
Suits 9-16mm kernmantle rope - This simple to rig manual descender is ideal for use on 9-16mm kernmantle rope depending on your application
Straight rope path - Straight rope path eliminates rope twisting during use and prolongs rope life
Integral heat sink for heat dissipation - Integral heat sink provides excellent heat dissipation, dispersing heat generated by rope friction away from the bars and into spine of unit - ideal for extra long descents
High strength aluminum construction - Machined from extruded aluminum with anodized finish for superior corrosion resistance, strength and durability
