DBI/SALA® ShockWave2™ Nomex/Kevlar Arc Flash Tubular Web Stretch Shock Absorbing Lanyard expands to 6' and contracts to 4 1/2' in reaction to your movements. Easy to use self-locking snap hook at one end and web loop at other end used with harness. Lanyard limits arresting forces to 900 lb or less and impact indicator allows user to visually inspect unit for a fall. It is electric arc tested to 40 cal/cm2 and reduces trip fall hazards, dragging and snagging for complete freedom of movement. Lanyard is great for welding applications and meets or exceeds all industry standards including OSHA and ASTM F887-05.
6 ft. (1.8m) Single leg lanyard: Long enough to be user friendly, but kept as short as possible to minimize free fall distance Arc flash Rated: Resistant up to 40 cal/cm2 making it ideal for use where high voltage electricity is a concern Energy absorbing design limits fall arrest forces: Unique inner core immediately begins to extend and absorb energy during a fall, limiting arresting forces to safe levels Protected labels, equipped with i-Safe™: A flame resistant Velcro® cover protects lanyard labels and holds an i-Safe™ RFID identification tag for recording and storing information on inspections Stretches in reaction to your movements: Expands to 6 ft. (1.8m) when taut and contracts to 4-1/2 ft. (1.4m) keeping it out of the workers way, reducing dragging, snagging and trip falls User friendly self locking snap hook at one end: Automatically locks and closes for added safety, and allow you to open and connect without getting your thumb or fingers in the way even with gloves on Built-in impact indicator: Allows user to visually see if the lanyard has been involved in a fall, providing safe, simple and reliable inspection Nomex®/Kevlar® fire resistant webbing: Nomex® exterior with Kevlar® core provides ultimate flame resistance Web loop choker: Replaces one of the snap hooks allowing lanyard to be choked-off to dorsal web loop of harness where no metal above the waist is preferred, reducing overall weight and electrical conductivity
