Features
DBI/SALA® 6' ShockWave2™ 100% Tie-Off Arc Flash Shock Absorbing Lanyard is perfect for welding applications with the ExoFit XP arc flash and Delta II arc flash harnesses to meet the arc flash standard of ASTM F887-05. Lanyard includes an easy to use self-locking snap hooks at both ends whose electric arc is tested to 40 cal/sq.cm and has a Nomex®/Kevlar® tubular webbing outer jacket with impact indicator to visually inspect unit for a fall. Lanyard comes in twin leg 100% tie off style enabling the user to remain connected at all times and has 2 1/2" flat steel rebar hooks to connect to larger anchor points. Arc flash lanyard is able to contract up to 4 1/2' in reaction to user movements that minimizes trip fall hazards, dragging and snagging for complete freedom of movement.
6 ft. (1.8m) Double leg 100% tie-off lanyard: Allows user to “leap-frog” while moving from one location to another for added mobility, staying tie-off at all times for 100% fall protection Arc flash Rated: Resistant up to 40 cal/cm2 making it ideal for use where high voltage electricity is a concern Energy absorbing design limits fall arrest forces: Unique inner core immediately begins to extend and absorb energy during a fall, limiting arresting forces to safe levels Protected labels, equipped with i-Safe™: A flame resistant Velcro® cover protects lanyard labels and holds an i-Safe™ RFID identification tag for recording and storing information on inspections Stretches in reaction to your movements: Expands to 6 ft. (1.8m) when taut and contracts to 4-1/2 ft. (1.4m) keeping it out of the workers way, reducing dragging, snagging and trip falls User friendly self locking snap hook at one end: Automatically locks and closes for added safety, and allow you to open and connect without getting your thumb or fingers in the way even with gloves on Built-in impact indicator: Allows user to visually see if the lanyard has been involved in a fall, providing safe, simple and reliable inspection Nomex®/Kevlar® fire resistant webbing: Nomex® exterior with Kevlar® core provides ultimate flame resistance Web loop choker: Replaces one of the snap hooks allowing lanyard to be choked-off to dorsal web loop of harness where no metal above the waist is preferred, reducing overall weight and electrical conductivity
