DBI/SALA® Mobile Rope Grab fits to 5/8" Dia rope lifeline and use with 3' EZ Stop II shock absorbing lanyard. This mobile type rope grab automatically follows worker offering maximum freedom of movement and works on worn rope with no nuisance lock-ups. Energy-absorbing design reduces the forces generated upon a worker in the event of a fall and can be attached or detached anywhere along the lifeline for added flexibility. This rope grab employs both inertia and cam locking system for added safety to prevent the panic-grab situations. It has corrosion-resistant stainless steel, thermoplastic construction and meets or exceeds all industry standards including OSHA, ANSI and the stringent ANSI Z 359.
Revolutionary design is less sensitive to rope variations - it works on worn rope with no nuisance lock-ups Provides hands-free operation automatically following user as they ascend or descend providing maximum freedom of movement Utilizes both inertia and cam locking system for added safety - preventing "panic-grab" situations The cam provides the primary fall protection while the inertial system will deploy in the event the user panic-grabs the device and unintentionally keeps the cam from locking Limits the arresting forces in the event of a fall for greater safety and protection to the user and system components Allows the user to attach or remove the device anywhere along the rope lifeline for greater jobsite flexibility Stainless steel and a thermoplastic build will stand up to the harshest environments for added field longevity Will work on worn rope the same as new with no nuisance lock-ups for greater productivity and user satisfaction Fits the most common rope size for rope grabs - order 50 ft.
