FallTech 8447A Large Lightweight Aluminum Carabiner (2 - 1/8)
The Large AlumiTech carabiner is made with a rugged, lightweight forged aluminum construction. This carabiner features a triple-locking gate for added safety and security, includes an optional pin for captive-eye applications, and has a 2-1/8-inch gate opening that allows for a broad range of connections. Its rated at over 5,000 pounds. FallTech has developed the most complete line of aluminum connectors available anywhere. These are lightweight, long lasting and rated to meet or exceed all applicable industry standards. FallTech offers a range of double locking snap hooks and carabiners to be used as connecting elements for a variety of applications for fall arrest. Specifically designed to prevent roll-out or accidental opening, all FallTech connectors are thoroughly tested and conform to OSHA and ANSI standards.
